1. Policy Overview & Scope #

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the mandatory rules governing your use of ViralMag's web application, AI script generators, video rendering engine, and API endpoints. This policy applies to all accounts, workspace members, and programmatic integrations.

2. Permitted vs. Prohibited Use #

Below is a quick reference guide comparing permitted commercial activities with strictly prohibited behaviors:

Permitted & Encouraged Use
  • Generating UGC ads for SaaS, apps, and e-commerce products you legally own or market.
  • Utilizing ViralMag synthetic avatar creators and voice options provided in stock kits.
  • Creating educational product walk-throughs, feature teasers, and customer showcase reels.
  • Exporting high-definition video variants for multi-channel ad testing.
Strictly Prohibited Use
  • Creating video ads for competitor products without authorization or trademark rights.
  • Cloning voices or likenesses of public figures, celebrities, or individuals without consent.
  • Generating fake medical, financial, or investment return claims ("get-rich-quick" schemes).
  • Attempting to bypass quota limits, API keys, or security sandboxes.

3. Prohibited Content Categories #

You may not submit product briefs, script prompts, audio recordings, or media assets that contain or promote any of the following:

  • Intellectual Property Infringement: Copyrighted music, video clips, logos, or trademarks for which you do not possess valid licensing or authorization.
  • Deceptive Commercial Practices: Misleading product claims, fake customer testimonials presented as real personal experiences without required AI disclosures, or fraudulent financial advice.
  • Hate Speech & Harassment: Content that attacks, intimidates, or degrades individuals based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, or sexual orientation.
  • Illegal & Regulated Goods: Promotion of illegal drugs, illicit pharmaceuticals, unauthorized weapons, or illegal gambling operations.

4. Social Network & Ad Platform Rules #

Videos rendered on ViralMag are designed for publishing across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Meta Ad Manager, and LinkedIn. You are solely responsible for ensuring your published video output complies with the advertising policies of the target platforms, including applicable AI Content Disclosure Badges mandated by FTC and EU digital media regulations.

5. Anti-Abuse & System Integrity #

To protect platform performance for all users, you shall not:

  • Use web scrapers, automated bots, or unauthorized scripts to extract template assets or UI content.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of ViralMag API endpoints or authentication layers.
  • Share account access credentials across multiple un-affiliated organizations to circumvent seat pricing.

6. Automated & Human Content Moderation #

ViralMag employs multi-layered safety mechanisms to prevent policy violations:

  • Automated Prompt Filters: Script prompts submitted to our AI engine are screened in real-time against automated safety classifiers for harmful, illegal, or infringing content.
  • Rendering Queue Reviews: Flagged script jobs undergo secondary automated review before audio synthesis and video compilation execution.

7. Enforcement, Suspension & Appeals #

If a workspace is found to be in violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, ViralMag reserves the right to take proportionate action:

  • Warning & Content Removal: Issuance of a formal warning and immediate deletion of non-compliant video renders.
  • Workspace Suspension: Temporary restriction of video rendering capabilities pending review.
  • Termination: Permanent termination of the workspace for severe or repeated violations without refund.
