Store listing creative that actually shows the app in hands
Generic mockups don't convert installs. Phone-in-hand demos grounded in real screens perform differently — and take a different production path to make.
App store listings and install ads built from generic device mockups tend to look like every other listing in the category. What reads differently to a prospective user is seeing the app in an actual hand, in an actual first-open moment — grounded in the real interface, not a stand-in screen.
That's a harder asset to produce manually — it needs real screens, a believable first-open sequence, and enough variation to cover different placements. Building it directly from the app's real screens and a defined use-case story keeps the output specific to the product instead of generic to the category.
