Marketing teams evaluating their UGC production stack usually frame the decision as a choice between vendors: hire in-house, hire freelancers, or try an AI tool. That framing skips a more useful question — which parts of the workflow actually need a person making a judgment call, and which parts are repeatable structure that shouldn't require one every time.

Briefing and creative judgment benefit from a person who knows the product. Re-explaining that same product from scratch for every new piece of content doesn't need to — that's the part that's actually expensive to keep paying for, regardless of which vendor is doing it.

A production system that keeps the brief once and reuses it across topics, weeks and variants isn't a replacement for creative judgment. It's a way of not re-buying the same briefing overhead every time a team needs new content.
